ProEnterpriz evolved as a result of the development of the ProActive "Smart Press", a servo driven bench-top press.

Active Manufacturing, Inc., in Grand Haven, Michigan, a manufacturer of prototypes and short production runs, had a need for an accurate press for small parts. Nothing was available, so in 1998 a machine tool designer was contacted to help develop a solution to the problem.

Today, because of this successful venture, ProEnterpriz thrives on new development and technology. The company's focus is on helping other companies solve their manufacturing problems with the ProActive "Smart Press" at the core of the solution. Whether it be inspecting, correcting, straightening, forming, or assembling of small parts, the "Smart Press" is an invaluable manufacturing asset.
